Affle, a consumer intelligence-driven mobile marketing platform, is all set to acquire a majority stake in Appnext for $17.25 million.
Appnext, a base of 300 million daily active users, more than 20 on-device daily interactions, and 60,000+ apps, leads the independent app recommendation platform. With over 4 billion app recommendations per day, it enables developers and handset manufacturers to deliver customized app recommendations.
The Chairman, MD, and CEO at Affle, Anuj Khanna Sohum says, “The Appnext platform transforms ads into app recommendations as a service for consumers and thus strengthens our CPCU business model by enabling greater ROI for advertisers.”

This deal will help in the global strengthening of the mobile app recommendation platform.
It is Affle’s 6th acquisition within the last two and a half year. MediaSmart, RevX, Shoffr are some of its other subsidiaries.
